The weather in North Zealand
|
|
The sun always shines in Denmark. Perhaps, but not in North Zealand. Here it acturally rains from time to time.

Here's that rainy day On rainy windy days North Zealand's natural scenery can seem rough, but with the right clothing we warmly recommend a trip to Heatherhills near Rågeleje.
If you enjoy bracing the elements, then another idea for an outing is to take a good long hike along the gusty coast. Here you will find some of the most beautiful stones formed between 1 and 2 billion years ago. Some may have holes in them so you can thread a piece of string through and take home your very own special holiday souvenir.
The beautiful forest of Tisvilde Hegn is another wonderful place to stroll in rainy weather. Here you can enjoy complete peace and quiet broken only by the sound of the waves from the sea. Part of the forest close to the sea is called the Troll Forest as the trees and their branches have become crippled and deformed over the years, thus taking on a troll-like appearance.
