Cosy beach village with restaurants, accommodation, shopping and a very nice beach for children
At the end of 19th century, Liseleje, was founded in 1784, began to develop into a popular destination for holidaymakers who rented the fishing cottages during the summer. It later began to attract guesthouses and, today, there are many holiday homes here.

The Sea-bull Nature playground
On Lisevej lies the popular children playground, which includes swing, slide, balance beams, racks, covered and packed lunches and the Sea-bull you can climb on - if you dare!.  According to legend, the sea-bull went up onto the land and ploughed up the sand, until it had sanded up the fields because the farmers had stolen its cattle.
