Following the fire at Kikhavn, Lynæs began to develop. As the name suggests, it lies in the shelter of the high hills on the on the outermost tip of the headland. On Lynæs harbour you find a restaurant and a food store. Close to the harbour you also find Lynæs Inn. Furthermore Lynæs church is worth to visit. In the light church room you can among other things see a new organ. Outside at the cemetery, you can see a statue of a woman, looking over the sea and a big memorial board for missing sailors, which reminds us of the rough times in old days.
