Fuglebjerggaard Brewery
Fuglebjerggaard opened its small organic brewery in 2005. Its product - ‘Kølsters’ - is sold in the farm shop. One thing that makes the brew so special is that the ingredients – the malt and the hops – are all grown on the farm. And the pure, tasty water comes from a local well, which draws on a subterranean cavity known as the Alnarp basin, which is shared with Scania (Skåne) on the other side of the Øresund. No other microbrewery in Denmark – or in the world, for that matter – brews a beer all of its own in this way.
