Active holiday in North SealandNorth Sealand is a beautiful place for a run especially in the beautiful forests. Try for example: The exercise routes in Rungsted Hegn og Folehave Skove. The routes are of different lengths: 2,4 km or 5,2 km or 8,9 km. ”Run and Jump in Tisvilde Hegn”. In Tisvilde Hegn, the Danish Forest and Nature Agency and local tourist information center have jointly published a special booklet, which pinpoints 90 large numbered stakes spread throughout the forest. The stakes are GPS marked and there is plenty of opportunity for exicting runs - or strools. The Prinsesse Isabella ruten is a 5.8 km exercise route in Fredensborg Castle garden. Pick up a folder from the tourist office. The Halsnæs path – on foot or bicycle, is a worth seeing trip round Halsnæs, which connect the varied fiord and see areas with each other and on the way leads you through all the different landscapes and smaller cities. The trip is about 12 km but can be shortened 
Windsurfing and Paragliding
If you have a hang- or paragliding certificate, we can recommend paragliding at Gilbjerghoved and if you like windsufing Lynæs is the place to go. Both Gilbjerghoved and Lynæs is just a few kilometers from Hundested.

Canoe or Kayak on Esrum Lake
Sailing on Esrum Lake in a canoe or kayak is a unique experience. You will be surprised by the quietness of the lake, broken only by birdsong and the sound of your paddle as it cuts through the water. During the summer period you can rent a canoe or kayak at the ice cream shop in Sørup, right by the lake.
Enjoy the canoe or kayak sailing from Roskilde Fiord through the canals in Frederiksværk. You can rent canoes at the hostel in Frederiksværk.
Angling in North Sealand
Standing alone in your waders and with your favourite fishing rod in hand, you witness a solitary sunrise. The sound of birds beginning to stir. Early morning mist. Have you caught anything? North Sealand offers lots of scope for great fishing. Ask the tourist office for further information.
Solbjerggaard trout fishing is situated in Strølille in beautiful North Sealand. It is one of Denmarks largest Put & Take Lakes. It is open all week from sunrise till sunset. You can rent fishing rods by appointment.

Cycling in North SealandThe forests of North Sealand has many bicycle paths - both easy and difficult. So bring or rent a bike and enjoy nature up close.

Buy a cycle map at one of  the tourist offices. It makes it easy for you to follow the routes.

Look for this sign and you will finde the places that have been approved by the scheme.

Saab Cykler has 35 Danish-made Kildemoes Cruiser for rent. The Kildemoes Cruiser give you a reliable, relaxed and comfortable ride. You will finde Saaby Cykler next to the train station in Snekkersten.
Levy´s service in Liseleje is hiring out and repairing bicycles. The only one at Halsnæs.
